Flotation units, type KWF
The KWF flotation units are extremely compact and make use of plate pack technology for removing suspended solids, oil, fat, grease and other dispersed and/or flocculated materials with micro flotation. Corrugated plate packs increase the internal surface, which results in improved separation efficiency against smaller required floor space.
The KWF is equipped with a very effective micro aeration system and a stainless steel sediment auger installed over the entire base of the unit to remove sand and other settled materials.
The design of the KWF range is based on avoiding any hydraulic disturbances, achieving an absolute stable and laminar flow throughout the entire unit. Depending the application, gas/liquid pump or an air saturation pressure vessel can be applied for the formation of a supersaturated water/air mixture.
Options:
● Multistage side channel centrifugal ump or air saturation pressure vessel.
● Unique clogg free aeration (patent pending).
● Construction materials then standard ISI 304.
● AISI 304 hinged cover.
Industries that can benefit from this solution:
Dairy industry
Petrochemical industry
Pharmaceutical industry
Pulp and paper industry
Textile industry
The KCL flotation units are designed to treat large waste water flows for the removal of suspended solids, oil, fat, grease and other dispersed and/or flocculated materials with micro flotation.
The KCL units are very compact due to the use of plate separating technology working in accordance with both counter current and cross flow principles.
The unique design allows the waste water flow to be divided over all plate packs sections separately, resulting in optimal separation efficiency. Sand and other settling materials are removed using a stainless steel transport auger operating over the entire base of the KCL units.
Options:
● Unique clogg free aeration (patent pending).
● Multistage gas-liquid with pressure cilinder pump or air saturation pressure vessel.
● Construction materials then standard AISI 304.
● Stainless steel hinged cover.
Industries that can benefit from this solution:
Dairy industry
Municipal waste water
Petrochemical industry
Pharmaceutical industry

The GPL flotation units are robustly built and characterised by large “free surface” areas. For waste water containing large solids contents, the design provides sufficient retention time for separation and pre-dewatering of the skimming.
The GPL units have been designed for waste water with COD contents of 10 000 mg/l and higher. In the same system, suspended solids, fat, oil, grease and other dispersed and/or flocculated materials are removed.
The GPL’s typical feature is the very efficient micro aeration system. The complete design of the GPL units is based on elimination of hydraulic disturbances, resulting in a complete stable and laminar flow at all cross sections of the system. Depending on the application, specially with respect to the solids amount to be removed, either a special multistage gas/liquid pump or a pressure vessel type saturation unit is applied to generate a supersaturated water/air (gas) mixture.
Industries that can benefit from this solution:
Red meat abattoirs
The GWL flotation units are robustly built and characterised by large “free surface” areas. For waste water containing large solids contents, the design provides sufficient retention time for separation and pre-dewatering of the skimming.
The GWL units have been designed for waste water with COD contents of 10 000 mg/l and higher. In the same system, suspended solids, fat, oil, grease and other dispersed and/or flocculated materials are removed. Also small amounts of settled materials can be removed.
Typical GWL features are the very efficient micro aeration system and a stainless steel sediment transport auger operating over part of the base of the flotation system.
The complete design of the GWL systems is based on elimination of hydraulic disturbances, resulting in a complete stable and laminar flow at all cross sections of the system. Depending on the application, specially with respect to the solids amount to be removed, either a special multistage gas/liquid pump or a pressure vessel type saturation unit is applied to generate a supersaturated water/air (gas) mixture.

The WWL flotation units are robustly built and characterised by large “free surface” areas. For waste water containing large solids contents, the design provides sufficient retention time for separation and pre-dewatering of the skimming.
The WWL units have been designed for waste water with COD contents of 10 000 mg/l and higher. In the same system, suspended solids, fat, oil, grease and other dispersed and/or flocculated materials are removed, as well as settled materials.
Typical WWL features are the very efficient micro aeration system and a stainless steel sediment transport auger operating over the entire base of the flotation system.
The complete design of the WWL systems is based on elimination of hydraulic disturbances, resulting in a complete stable and laminar flow at all cross sections of the system. Depending on the application, specially with respect to the solids amount to be removed, either a special multistage gas/liquid pump or a pressure vessel type saturation unit is applied to generate a supersaturated water/air (gas) mixture.
Options:
● Automatic clog-free aeration system (patent pending).
● Multi stage gas / liquid pump or pressure vessel saturation unit.
● Separation enhancing lamella module.
● Construction materials other than standard AISI 304.
● Stainless steel AISI 304 hinged cover.
