Same as it does with the Tequila industry, there are other industries that depend mainly in the fermentation and/or distillation process. These industries dispose of great volumes of wastewater with high organic charge. This wastewater can be characterized and evaluated for their treatment and potential energetic use. This wastewater is an excellent source for biogas generation, same that translates as a reduction of consumption of fossil fuels in the production process.
